character design murder most unlady like

When I first designed the thumbnail sketches I had a few where it both the main character in the front covers so I decide I need to expand more on there designed.

I created this mood board to help in creating their character design I had to look at the time period so it would fit the whole them of the book.

These two images above are the clothing designs I made for the girls to wear the one I rent for is the bottom image as I was looking back at my mood board at the time they didn't have much in there clothing just on the simple side of clothing.

These are the head shots design of each character I tried making each girl different to each other but also trying to keep them designed in their timed periods.

I think I mange to create an appealing design and trying to get there era right and to show in their design.

What I would have change was keep on doing more designs of them but as showed in my final work of the cover I didn't go with a character cover but I will keep on mind how I go about it next time and to improve from this.
